Can you see something in you?
As an international matchmaker, I have been meeting, talking and supporting many Australian singles and Japanese singles.
And I sometimes find a common reason why they haven’t met their ideal partner yet.
They haven’t seen something great in themselves yet and that stops them from taking action, stop them from finding love, stop them finding a partner and stop them telling to someone “I love you.”
I used to be one of them.
I couldn’t seen any good or special qualities in myself. I didn’t think I was good enough.
I thought no one would love me.
It might have come from my Japanese culture background.
My Australian husband saw something in me
Then I met my husband. He is Australian. It was 14 years ago.
On the day we met at Gloria Jeans’ cafe, he saw something in me.
He said that I had something wonderful.
I didn’t believe it but he didn’t mind whether I believed it or not.
He kept telling me that I had something wonderful.
Now I can see something in me.
It took several years for me to believe that I have something wonderful in me.
If I didn’t meet my husband, I would still be the same person who stayed home and did nothing.
I definitely wouldn’t have started a matchmaking service.
One person could change someone’s life.
