How he met a Japanese girl
It’s September !!
I like spring the most out of all the months of the year. Because spring is the time when things that have been standing still begin to move, and things that have never existed are born.
Last Saturday a new couple was born 🙂 They are an Australian and Japanese couple.
They met at the OzMatch Speed Dating Event in August. Let’s say he is David and she is Sakura.
OzMatch, , an Australian and Japanese matchmaking agency, allowed only 5 minutes to each couple and that wasn’t long enough to get to know each other. But David felt something for Sakura and Sakura felt something for David in such a short time. David and Sakura matched.
It took 4 weeks to organise an OMIAI ( a first date) for them after the event. Organizing an OMIAI is not complicated but it takes time.
This is because both parties need to be told about the other’s background and interests and make sure they are okay with them.
If we were an online dating agency or dating event agency, we wouldn’t care about the particulars, preferences, and details of each participant.
But we are a Boutique-style matchmaking agency and of course we care about what our clients really want and are looking for.
So we contact each party several times to make sure whether they are truly interested in each other.

I would definitely like to talk with him again and get to know him better. I was also very impressed with the care he took to end the meeting at just the right time, not too long. I think I was a little nervous at first and my face was a little tense, but by the end I was a little less nervous and had a good time 🙂
It’s only been three months since I registered with OzMatch, but I think I’m getting not only a chance to meet wonderful people, but also a chance to grow as a person.
