I had a zoo consultation with an Australian new male member this afternoon.
I’m the CEO of Ozmatch, an Australian and Japanese matchmaking agency and one of my job is meeting new members and getting know them.
He joined our Australian and Japanese Single’s Quiz Event last month.
We couldn’t talk at the event, so today is the first time to talk in person.
He said he was trying to get a second job as a firefighter. Firefighter ?
All I know about firefighters is the firefighters calendar. When I saw it at the shop, I was shocked and happy. 🙂
I haven’t bought it yet, maybe this year . Maybe.
I asked him what made him want to become a firefighter.
He said he was now 50 years old and wanted to stay fit and strong.
I said ” So you need a challenge?”
He said ” Exactly!”
I knew it !!
Men need a challenge and a project.
And that makes their wives upset but that is men, isn’t it?
Why do I know it?
Because I married a man who needs a challenge and a project.
But challenges and projects are not only for men.
Women also need challenges and projects too.
I think marriage is not about two people doing things together.
I think marriage is about two people who each have their own challenges and projects, and growing together while supporting each other.
My challenge is mastering BTS’s Dynamite dance. 🙂
