Are you looking for a partner or a soulmate?
This week I received very happy messages from two of former OZMATCH Japanese female members.
One of them informed us that she has been granted a partner visa. She is a Japanese and from now on, she can live in Australia without having to worry about her visa.

The other Japanese lady informed us that she will be registering marriage this month.

I’ve known their journey since they signed up for a basic membership on OZMATCH. So I’m really happy to hear news like this and feel it’s a miracle that people find their partner.
Japan and Australia are 7000 km apart. It is a miracle that two people who have lived in completely different countries have met.
One of our male members said when he completed his journey with OZMATCH, “I’ve found my soul mate”.
He didn’t say he’s found a partner.
I had never heard of soul mates until I came to Australia. The term ‘soulmate’ is still unfamiliar to me, but I understand what they meant.
What a soulmate mean for you?
I googled this morning and found the quotes about soulmates.

“Though soulmates aren’t looking for you, they will find you.”
“A soul mate is not found. A soul mate is recognized.”
“Friends yesterday, lovers today, soulmates forever.”
“Some souls are just meant to be for each other forever, and ever, and ever!”
“There are no accidental meetings between souls.”
“A soulmate is an ongoing connection with another individual that the soul picks up again in various times and places over lifetimes.”
“Sometimes, soulmates may meet, stay together until a task or life lesson is completed, and then move on. This is not a tragedy, only a matter of learning.”
“A bond between souls is ancient—older than the planet.”
“A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks.”
“We click. There aren’t that many people that you just ‘click’ with; and when you find those people, you don’t just let them go.”
There are many more.
When I look at the OZMATCH couples, I feel that this expression “There are no accidental meetings between souls.” is very close to their encounters.
How would you define a soulmate?
A sense of soul-pleasing
The internet connection was very bad last nigh and my husband and I ended up to watch TV, instead of Prime. We watched NCIS 🙂
I don’t know which series, but the father of one of the members is getting remarried. His father’s remarriage is to his late mother’s best friend.
The father said to the son “She is my soul mate.” He didn’t say “She is my new partner.” Not lover, wife or friend, but soulmate.

I have never described my husband as my soulmate, but I have had interesting experiences.
When I met my husband and we started dating, I was talking to a picture of my parents. My parents had already passed away and it was impossible to have a direct conversation with them.
I said to my parents that my soul rejoices when I am with him.
I surprised myself with the word soul. Because I have never used the word soul.
I know the word soul, but it is a word that I only used to describe people who are gone, meaning that I have never used it for people who are alive today or for myself.
That was the first and last time I expressed that my soul was happy to be with him. No man before or after that has ever made me say that.
Your soulmate could be a Japanese woman
As I mentioned earlier, I haven’t described my husband as my soulmate. But he is definitely my greatest best friend.

And I am one of those people who have experienced a huge difference in the quality of life between having a best friend and not having a best friend.
Konkatsu (婚活・こんかつ) is about the activity of finding a partner, but maybe it is also about the activity of finding a soulmate or best friend.
This blog you are reading now is written by a Japanese introduction agent who introduces Japanese women and single men.
Perhaps finding this blog is not a coincidence, but the beginning of your journey to find your soulmate. And maybe your soulmate is a Japanese woman.
