But read the following advice carefully.
Reply to her soon but not to soon
We have an executive male member from Korea. He said when a message comes from your girlfriend or wife, you have to reply immediately.
In Korea, as in Japan, men are very busy working, so responding immediately to messages from girlfriends and wives must require a great deal of effort and ingenuity.
Japanese women do not expect a reply from their boyfriends or husbands within a few minutes. They are also busy working and are well aware that men may not be able to reply immediately.
So, on the contrary, if they get an immediate reply, they wonder ” Is he working?” This gives a negative impression.
In the past, a few of our Japanese female members contacted us and told that they wanted to end the relationship on the second day of dating. What they said is:
“I sent him a message and he replied within seconds. I don’t like a man who is waiting for my message.”
I know that sounds very rude and kind of stupid. In fact, they are waiting for a response from men. But they don’t want to be replied to immediately.
You responded immediately because you care about her, but it means something else entirely. But for Japanese women, a message being returned within seconds is seen as someone who is not doing important work.
What I can say to you is when you get a message from your new dating partner, don’t respond immediately. But once you and her enter in an exclusive relationship, sooner is always better.
Video chats should be scheduled in advance
Video chat at least once a week and it should be scheduled in advance.
Before I explain this, let me tell you about my weekend.
On Sunday yesterday, my husband and I went swimming in the Bibi Beach in Okinawa.
We went twice last week and we are going to be addicted to it. Because the sea is such a colour.
This beautiful blue colour is unobjectionable.
Besides, Okinawans don’t swim, so the beaches are empty on weekdays.
Yesterday, I was hungry before we got to the beach, so we stopped at Matsuya on the way and had breakfast.
Have you heard of Matsuya? It is a reasonably priced restaurant that mainly serves beef bowls all over Japan.
I thought this kind of restaurant was a place for men, but families and young people can casually go there.
It is cheap , fast and tasty.
I am grateful to Japan, where I can have such a breakfast for 400 yen. ( AUD $4)
We had a good breakfast, and enjoyed swimming in a beautiful OKINAWA beach in Japan. So fare so good.
But..
My husband makes videos about his life in Japan and distributes them on Youtube, and yesterdfay he tried to film me again, just after I got out of the sea, with shaggy hair and no make-up.
How insensitive of him to try to film me in this state.
You, like my husband, may have thought, what’s wrong with that? 🙂
At any rate, I changed out of my swimming costume, hid my shaggy hair with a hat and my face without make-up with sunglasses.
This somehow makes me look more bearable to look at.
