It is a clever way to meet Japanese women
OZMATCH, a licensed introduction agency based in QLD Australia, held an Online Speed Dating Event on 25th November 2023. We welcomed 14 participants from all over Japan and Australia. One of participants joined from New Zealand.
Our Online Speed Dating Event is for men who want to meet Japanese women and Japanese women who want to meet men in Australia or other countries. Each time, some male members are matched with Japanese women and meet formally on a one-to-one basis at a later date (we call it OMIAI).
OZMATCH asks participants various questions during the event. Participants must answer these questions immediately. And by listening to their answers, you can learn about their experiences, values and personality.
So you can see things about other members that you couldn’t see just by looking at their profiles by attending events. This is the best part of attending the OZMATCH Online Speed Dating Event.

The event gave me a much clearer picture of the type of women I could meet on OZMATCH

Thank you for hosting the event last night. I got a lot out of the session and had lots of fun chatting with the Japanese women.
It gave me a much clearer picture of the type of women I could meet on OZMATCH.
I like the fact that it was held on Zoom, which made it convenient for most of us without having to travel or make too much commitment in our busy lives since we are all located in various locations.
I also liked that we had breaks in between the 1 on 1 sessions which allowed us to take a breather, and also added another fun element when you asked the tough questions!
I think if these sessions are held more often, a lot of people would benefit since you mentioned that half of the couples that were successful on OZMATCH met through the speed dating event.
I think an idea for future sessions to make it more exciting would be for each participant to submit a picture of themselves doing something that they love, and in the session to get each person to talk about the picture.
This helps everybody understand a little more about that person and is also a good ice breaker when it comes to the 1 on 1 sessions so that there will be lots to talk about.

イベントでみさおさんとお会いできて、とても嬉しかったです。
初対面にも関わらずイベントの際にはまともにご挨拶もできず、大変失礼いたしました。
みさおさんの温かいハッピームードに導かれて、私は温くて愛を感じれるイベントに参加できているって実感することができて、緊張していた心も柔らかくなって、精神的にとても良い状態で、コミュ二ケーションを取ることが出来ました。
イベントの感想なのですが、とても新鮮で楽しかったです!
オーストラリア在住の方々が参加されているこの様なイベントは始めての参加でしたので、(外国人の方のみというイベントも始めてです)不安な部分もありましたが、楽しめることが出来ました。
温かいサポートのおかげです。本当に有難うございました。
そして、このイベントに参加して感じたこと。
自分の気持ちを伝えるための英語表現の習得。
そして、それ以前の段階での課題は、普段から自分が感じていることを相手に伝えるための、自分の気持ちや哲学を言語化して相手に伝えるスキル。
普段から様々なことを感じて考える感受性を磨く日々の意識。
そういう部分がとても大切だと感じました。とても有意義な時間でした。参加出来て良かったです。
10年後、どうなっているかの質問をしていただけた際に、愛する人と世界中を旅するというイメージをしたのですが、その愛する人は、将来の私の旦那さんとです。と付け加えれたら良かったのに。。。と、自分で感じました。今後に活かしたいと感じます。
イベント後で気持ちが落ち着かない状況で、今夜は眠れるかなって感じてます。笑。
明日の仕事に備えて、今夜は温かいお風呂に浸かって落ち着かせたいと思います。

婚活イベントに参加させていただきありがとうございました。初めての参加で緊張しましたが、皆さんがとても暖かく安心しました。
参加してみて英語力の乏しさに改めて実感しました。勉強はしていますが、とても刺激されました。もっと自分の思ってることを伝えたいと思いました。
オズマッチのパソコンの不具合で、少しだけ女性会員の方とお話しできたので、同性同士で相談などできると嬉しいなと思いました。普段は婚活してることを言いづらいこともあるので、同じ立場や目標の方とお話ししたいと思いました。
私は無料会員で、たまに男性会員のプロフィールを見るのみで、正規会員にならないと何も始まらないし、何も参加できないと思っていたので、みさおさんに招待して頂かなかったら、多分この先1年くらいは無料登録のみになっていたと思います。

人生初めて参加したスピードデーティングでしたので、参加前はどれくらいの人が参加するのか？皆の前で自己紹介とか話を振られた時にしっかり話せるかな？100分も代る代る人と話し続けて疲れそう、と不安な事ばかりでしたが、開始早々、みさおさんと旦那様の雑談からスタートし、気持ちも和み、最後までリラックスして、参加する事が出来ました。
話す人数や、8分というタイミング、私にはちょうど良かったです。
気になる人は、、いました！笑でも旦那様が言われたように、まず参加した事に意味があると言う事で、結果はともあれ、まずは一歩踏み出して体験出来た事が大きな収穫でした。

ずっと英語で話すの疲れるかなと思っていたんですが、楽しかったです。
日本だと、なんだか求められてる理想の女性像に近づかなくちゃいけない気がして楽しめないことが多かったんですが、オズマッチのイベントは面白かったです。
ユニークっていいことなんですね。笑。なんかコンプレックスでした。参加してよかったです。
